Rapid Reviews and Local Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews

This webinar provides practitioners and managers from across the safeguarding partnership with a clear overview of Lancashire’s Rapid Review and Local Child Safeguarding Practice Review processes.

The session will explore when a serious safeguarding incident should be referred, how Rapid Reviews and Local Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews are undertaken, and the responsibilities of agencies throughout the process. It will also consider the importance of effective multi-agency working, information sharing and analytical chronologies in identifying learning and strengthening safeguarding practice. 

Participants will gain practical guidance on completing referrals, contributing to Rapid Review Meetings and understanding how learning is translated into action, monitored and embedded across the partnership. The webinar will also introduce Multi-Agency Reflective Learning as an alternative learning route where the statutory review criteria are not met. 

Suitable for: Practitioners, managers, safeguarding leads, agency Single Points of Contact and professionals who may contribute to safeguarding reviews.
