Lancashire CSAP strategy Launch - Contextual and Neglect

Lancashire CSAP Strategy Launch Event
Join us for the joint launch of two vital safeguarding strategies developed by the Children’s Safeguarding Assurance Partnership (CSAP):
- Lancashire Neglect Strategy
- Lancashire Contextual Safeguarding Strategy (2025–2028)
While each strategy addresses distinct safeguarding challenges, both reflect our shared commitment to protecting children and young people across Lancashire.
What to Expect
Keynote Speech by Dez Holmes: We are honoured to welcome Dez Holmes, Director of Research in Practice and Strategic Director at the National Children’s Bureau. Dez is a nationally recognised expert in safeguarding, child exploitation, and transitional safeguarding. Her keynote will explore whole-system change, trauma-informed practice, and how we can better protect children across developmental transitions.
Strategy Presentations: Learn about the aims, priorities, and implementation plans for both strategies:
- The Neglect Strategy focuses on early identification, multi-agency collaboration, and trauma-informed intervention.
- The Contextual Safeguarding Strategy addresses risks beyond the home, including exploitation, youth violence, and online harm.
Networking and Collaboration: Connect with professionals, community leaders, and safeguarding partners committed to making Lancashire a safer place for children.
